Since the early 1960s, when Giuseppe Arangiaro began exporting his modular kitchens from Abruzzo and became one of Italy's biggest names in the trade, Miton has stood for one idea: that Italian design and reliability should be within everyone's reach. Today the handleless Ménta Collection, the Anuba, Amari, Talìa and Medea kitchens and the Sincro best-seller are made at Cubo Design's Industry 4.0 plant in Abruzzo — planned to the centimetre, in a near-unlimited choice of finishes, and presented in Singapore by W. Atelier.

Miton's story began in the early 1960s, when Giuseppe Arangiaro set out on his own in Abruzzo with a conviction that has never left the company: that "made in Italy" guaranteed success. He began exporting his original kitchen designs, and within a few years was one of Italy's biggest exporters of modular kitchens — enough to attract the attention of an American multinational, whose demanding quality standards his products met. Times changed, and with them materials, demand and taste; what did not change was the need for quality, then as now an essential requirement. The company remains in the Arangiaro family, guided today with the same foresight and the same belief that Italian creativity and reliability are held in high regard throughout the world.
Since 2006 Miton's kitchens have been produced by Cubo Design, the Abruzzo manufacturing centre that also owns Binova and has built a new-generation plant around Industry 4.0, smart-factory automation, energy efficiency and a green approach — knowledge of the past projected into the future. The result is a range that balances material, function and design in equal measure: the handleless Ménta Collection, the brass-detailed Anuba, the industrial Medea, the classically profiled Talìa, the island-in-the-island Amari and the Sincro best-seller, all planned around the Waind, Bellevue, Frame, Skeleton and Slide systems that carry the kitchen into the living room. Each is made to measure in a near-unlimited choice of lacquers, veneers, Fenix and stone finishes — Miton's idea of democratic design. As Miton's Singapore partner, W. Atelier presents the collection at our Henderson Road kitchen studio.

Miton's founding idea is that Italian quality should be accessible to all. Modular systems, rational ergonomics and honest materials — functional kitchens, well built, with Italian design as the starting point rather than the premium.
Endless Customisation
Bilaminate, veneer, matt and glossy lacquer, Fenix and stone laminates for the doors; laminate, gres, techno-stone and quartz worktops; groove or Fuga, Jay, Vertex, Tube and Linear handles. A near-unlimited palette, planned to the centimetre.

The Ménta Collection
Miton's most beloved kitchen, and the purest expression of its democratic design. Ménta is a handleless modular system whose every component is a choice — bilaminate, veneered or lacquered doors, Fenix or stone-laminate islands, laminate or gres worktops, groove or handle. The compositions show its range: the Ménta_01 "happy island" in Rovere Mogano and Oriental stone, the Ménta_03 L-shaped peninsula in Grigio Antracite silk-effect lacquer, the Zen-calm Ménta_04 in Nero Ingo Fenix — each flowing into Waind columns and Bellevue glass cabinets.

Anuba, Amari, Talìa & Medea
Kitchens with a point of view. Anuba pairs horizontally milled Grigio Antracite doors with brass inserts and a Ride handle for the charm of an antique dune. Amari builds an island within the island — matt black, smoked glass, Rosso Tosca. Talìa gives a classically profiled, open-pore door an architectural rigour with industrial legs and Tube handles. Medea brings the metropolitan loft home in Antico Rovere and black matt aluminium. Tes completes the family with a contemporary reading of the traditional frame door.

Living Systems & Sincro
When the kitchen and the living room become one room. Waind open columns and bookcases, Bellevue glazed cabinets, Frame metal shelving and the freestanding Skeleton system let a Miton composition continue past the last base unit — with LED light running through the shelves. The Slide and Lift-Up mechanisms extend, retract and reveal worktops on demand. And Sincro, the evolution of Miton's MT 122 best-seller, offers essential volumes, suspended units and handleless lines in matt, glossy or wood versions.
