FRITZ HANSEN AND REVOLUTION LAUNCH "FRITZ HANSEN PLACE" – A CULTURAL DESTINATION FOR DESIGN, WINE, FOOD, AND GATHERING AT HENDERSON ROAD

25 July 2025, Singapore — Alvin Gho and Ian Lim, the trailblazing duo behind Wine RVLT and now Revolution, have partnered with iconic Danish design house Fritz Hansen to unveil Fritz Hansen Place — a new cultural destination at Henderson Road where Scandinavian design, natural wine, and bold hospitality converge.

Blurring the boundaries between a restaurant, a design showroom, and a living space, Fritz Hansen Place invites guests to slow down, connect, and experience the warmth of Nordic aesthetics paired with expressive cuisine and curated wines.

“This is a space that lives and breathes,” says Dario Reicherl, CEO of Fritz Hansen Asia. “It’s not just about selling design or serving food, it’s about creating atmosphere, inspiration, and a sense of belonging.”

Furnished entirely with Fritz Hansen’s iconic pieces — from Arne Jacobsen classics to contemporary designs — the interiors embody quiet sophistication. Meanwhile, Revolution’s kitchen, led by Chef Sunny Leong, offers a playful take on modern comfort food rooted in produce, seasonality, and the team’s irreverent culinary style. The lunch menu features vibrant communal plates designed for sharing — from salted egg carbonara, chicken rendang ravioli, and wagyu mini steak bucatini to mala-pesto mezze maniche.

The evening menu will introduce five-course tasting experiences and sharing dishes like herbal roasted duck and charcoal grilled wagyu tomahawk, bringing the famous night vibe from the RVLT times — energetic, irreverent, and always fun.

Reflecting on the shift from bar to full kitchen, Ian Lim says:
“We’ve been proud of the food Sunny has put out at RVLT. But the setting was a wine bar. We promised to give him a proper kitchen, and a chance to showcase what he can do.”

Dinner service is set to launch in September, expanding the experience beyond lunch into something more atmospheric and indulgent.

This collaboration marks a new way of thinking about space — not as a showroom or a restaurant, but as a home for ideas, conversation, and beauty in all its forms. Fritz Hansen Place will also host cultural programming, from wine tastings and listening sessions to design talks and intimate chef’s tables.

Now open at 211 Henderson Road, Fritz Hansen Place welcomes all who are curious, hungry, and into good food and great design.
