“GALLERY TOTO” Experience-led Restrooms to Open at Japan’s Gateway to the Skies

Opened in the connecting corridor to Narita International Airport Terminal 2 in April 2015

5 MAY 2015, SINGAPORE – TOTO Ltd. (Headquarters: Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan; President: Madoka Kitamura) has installed an experience-led restroom called “GALLERY TOTO” in the connecting corridor to Terminal 2 at Narita International Airport in April 2015. Created in collaboration with Narita International Airport Corporation, the restroom has been included in a new spacious relaxation area, as part of upgrading works at the connecting corridor. It was designed to provide a clean, pleasant experience for users, based on the concept of promoting culture and technology of Japanese toilets to visitors travelling from all over the world.

Designed by Klein Dytham architecture (KDa), the restroom has incorporated avant-garde spaces and feature large video display panels mounted on the walls, creating a sophisticated and entertaining art environment very much like a gallery.

TOTO has made the most of GALLERY TOTO to showcase its latest technologies and products to countless of people who use the airport.

Key Features of GALLERY TOTO

Fitted with the very latest equipment from TOTO, GALLERY TOTO is an experience-led restroom designed to showcase the technical capabilities of Japanese toilets to the rest of the world. It includes the new Neorest Hybrid Series AH/RH models and Washlet integrated toilets which was launched in February 2015. These are top-of-the-range products equipped with countless technologies unique to TOTO. In addition to their water-saving capabilities, they also boast hygienic features such as “Sanitizing Water” to keep toilets clean.
