Toto Water-Saving Toilets Used At Arena de Sao Paulo (Arena Corinthians) In Brazil


9 July 2014, Singapore – TOTO has supplied water-saving toilets and other fittings for restrooms inside Arena de São Paulo (also known as Arena Corinthians), the major soccer stadium that has been newly built in São Paulo, Brazil.

Located in São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, Arena de São Paulo is due to become the home of the local team Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. TOTO was chosen on the basis of its superior water-saving technology and energy-saving credentials. With so many visitors from all over the world using its products, TOTO is hoping to increase recognition of the TOTO brand, whilst at the same time contributing to the growth and development of Brazil.


Environmentally Friendly Products

Water-saving toilets have to flush properly with a small amount of water, whilst also being durable enough to be used in public facilities. Another key point is to save energy, given that it is in continual use. Products used inside the stadium include the Aqua-Auto Series, which starts and stops water using environmentally friendly power generating technology, and sensor systems with automatic flushing capabilities, to reduce wasted water.

Aqua-Auto faucets Local name: Standard Eco Power® Faucets have an in-built system that generates power whenever water is flowing. Producing foaming water for extra softness, faucets start when the user’s hands are placed in front of them and stop automatically after use, to reduce wasted water. Eco Power showers and basins have also been used.
