Born from the meeting of Luca Guzzini, of the Teuco Guzzini family, and Gary Fontana, a pioneer of Italian furniture in Asia, GF Interiors set out to make the night area with the care of a tailor. Today its Flat, Always and Nica wardrobes, Naked and Never Stop walk-in closets, Evans Air glass cabinets and Flat kitchens are produced entirely in-house in Roseto degli Abruzzi — Industry 4.0 machinery, an in-house paint line, a near-unlimited palette of lacquers, veneers and glass — and presented in Singapore by W. Atelier.

Two entrepreneurs, one workshop.
GF Interiors by Guzzini e Fontana was born from the meeting of two entrepreneurs with long and consolidated histories in furniture. Luca Guzzini had been President of Teuco Guzzini, the bathroom and wellness company of the Guzzini group; Gary Fontana, who took a degree in Chinese at Venice before moving to China, had built OC Shanghai into one of the most respected Italian furniture trading companies in Asia. Together they set up a company in Roseto degli Abruzzi to make systems for the night area — wardrobes, walk-in closets, beds — with the conviction that an industrial product could come as close as possible to bespoke. That conviction is written into the company's philosophy, Made with Love in Italy: passion in the selection of materials, care in craftsmanship, attention to detail and the technical capacity to deliver it.
Over its ten-year history GF Interiors has grown from the night area into the whole home — living walls, sideboards, bookcases, doors, boiserie, the Moodwall system and, most recently, the Flat and Skinny kitchens — shown at successive editions of the Salone del Mobile in Milan and exported almost worldwide. Production remains entirely in-house: Industry 4.0 machinery for wood panels and aluminium, and the company's own automated painting line, which is why the lacquer palette runs to any RAL or NCS colour. Art direction comes from Mama Studio, the Abruzzo practice of Daniele Marcattilj and Milena Margeviciute, whose Jazz Lifestyle catalogues — Night, Living, Kitchen and Elements in Jazz — treat each system as part of one composition rather than a piece of furniture. Luca Guzzini has since concluded his journey with the company, which continues under Gary Fontana and a new shareholder structure. As Guzzini & Fontana's Singapore partner, W. Atelier presents the collection at our Henderson Road showroom.

Wardrobes
Fifteen doors, one system. Flat is the completely smooth door — push-pull, recessed or external handle, hinged or sliding, in bilaminate, lacquer, metallic, veneer or glass. Always adds a ribbed surface that catches the light; Stage, Tempo and Shine play with frames and reflections; Ellington, Madeleine and Nica bring softer, more tailored profiles. Every model shares the same carcass, interior fittings and finish palette, so a wardrobe wall can mix ribbed and smooth, lacquer and Japan Oak, and still read as one composition.

Walk-In Closets
The wardrobe with the doors taken off. Naked is a freestanding system on aluminium frame sides in black, bronze or lacquer — fully open, or closed with glass panels and Evans Air doors on hidden hinges — whose shelves hang on disappearing supports. Never Stop is self-supporting with no back panels at all, its sides set back so the shelves appear to float. Evidence and Walk-In bring the same openness to wall-mounted layouts, and the dressing islands add drawers, trays and a surface to fold on, in the same bilaminates and veneers as the wardrobes.

Living & Kitchen
When the same rhythm runs through the whole home. GF's living walls, sideboards and bookcases use the Flat and Always doors, Evans Air glass cabinets and Moodwall panels of the night collection, so a bedroom and a living room share one language. Kitchen in Jazz takes it into the kitchen: Flat Cappuccino sets a ribbed Rovere Grigio Londra island inside low Evans Air glass units, against smooth Cappuccino lacquered columns and a projecting Travertino boiserie with LED light — the technical block recessed into the wall as an architecture within the room.
